After nearly six years working with Tarot, my practice continues to evolve, which is one thing I love about Tarot — it never gets boring, and it’s always growing alongside its human companions. Because Tarot is affordable and portable and so versatile, this also means we can bring Tarot into all kinds of spaces (where it’s welcome) to support ourselves and those around us, like therapy!

And perhaps that is true — true commitment to an artistic practice does require discipline, which sometimes requires certain kinds of sacrifice. But I’d like to challenge the notion that we must earn time for creativity (and other things we love) by sacrificing excess amounts of energy to work, other people, and the all the various demands of life.
